to Erickson and District
Erickson is
situated on Highway #10 en route to Riding Mountain
National Park and is surrounded by an agricultural
community of The Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam.
Erickson includes a diversity of various ethnic and culture
groups. Erickson has the basic facilities and services such
as the Centennial Park with campground, library, personal
care home, sports grounds, recreation center, arena,
schools and churches. Erickson is nestled among rolling
hills and a very scenic countryside with Leda Lake in the
background. The Erickson District is a hunter's and
fisherman's haven as many lakes dot the area and some such
as Gertrude(Ditch), Kerr, and Otter Lakes, have fully
developed cottage facilities.
